Why one national deadline does not exist
Chinese universities publish their own international admission schedules. The latest official guides illustrate the variation: Zhejiang University accepted 2026 undergraduate applications from 1 December 2025 to 28 February 2026, with 31 May for certain majors; Sun Yat-sen University used two rounds ending 28 February and 30 April; Xiamen University’s 2026 self-funded deadline was 10 May.
These are historical planning benchmarks, not 2027 deadlines. A student who copies one university’s date to another can miss a scholarship round or pay before confirming the correct programme.
A sensible month-by-month plan

Keep the CSCA timeline separate
Zhejiang University’s 2026 guide says undergraduate applicants must provide a valid CSCA report and that the service runs multiple times annually. That does not make MDCAT and CSCA the same test. What to verify before clicking submit
- The exact programme name, language and campus.
- The application round and Beijing-time deadline.
- Whether the fee is non-refundable.
- Required CSCA subjects, English evidence and interview rules.
- Scholarship and self-funded deadlines, which may differ.
Save the official guide and your application receipt. Do not rely on a social-media deadline without matching it to the university page.
Pakistani regulatory planning
PM&DC’s 5 October 2026 notice exempts passing MDCAT as a prerequisite for admission to foreign medical and dental institutions. Are 2027 MBBS application dates available now?
